Liquido – Nattevandring
Denmark’s Liquido offers some super moody deep house on Nattevandring. I think this translates as ‘night hike’, which would explain the rather dark heart of the track. Wouldn’t catch me doing such a thing. I’m a city boy, I’d break an ankle. I want well-lit pavements. Anyhow, the track is the best part of nine minutes of disconcerting emotions. Dark, slow bass vies with echoing wood blocks and held bass drones. There’s an overlying skitter to it all but that just adds to the palpitations. Deep dark house.
