Monuloku – Soulful Zebra #ambient #electronic #chill
After yesterday’s downtempo tunes here’s another from Monuloku. Soulful Zebra tags itself as deep house. And in a way it is. And in a way it isn’t. There’s the richness of deep house and the tunefulness of Matthias Springer but equally there’s an almost ambient or downtempo air to this track. Despite the beats this has a slow, stately progresion of a tune. Its charm lies in its delicacy and reserved approach to things. There’s emotion here but carefully managed such that it never spills over into a loss of self control. Meisterwerk.
