Downtempo delight from Rohne – Meridian #downtempo #ambient #electronic
Rohne returns with a nother gentle and utterly beautiful and beguiling tune on Meridian. All of his releases are quite wonderful and I’m really looking forward to the album, out at the end of the week. Let’s deal with Meridian in the meantime. Four and a half minutes of crushed beats and synths coming on like a harp. There’s more than a hint of Bonobo to all this. It has a sweetness that’s like being smothered in honey and then someone gently licking it off. Sultry stuff.
