Dub time: HiWstre – Wah Dub Soul #dub #electronic
Time for a bit of chilled dub from HiWstre. HiWstre is Michael Harker, from Glasgow, Scotland. And Wah Dub Soul owes much to Kruder & Dorfmeister. Has that same late night smoky dubby downtempo air. This would have been massive in the mid-90s smoking dens. You could totally hear this being on K&D Sessions. It’s given a hint of soul through a bit of background vocal. But nothing can break its unruffled surface and the need for you to stop and chill. Fantastic. Highly recommended.
