REVVONN is new here and may come from Albania. Who knows? I may be promoting #fakenews #sad. In the global world of house does that really matter? I think not. Echelon is a cracking stabby piano sort of house tune with some bits of pitched up wailing. Owes plenty to classic house tropes to be sure but makes it sound fresh and relevant. Next, OBA with the darker and more intense Fitness. OBA is from Denmark and the track is the second single from OBA’s forthcoming debut album Escape, expecting release in July 2019. I dunno why people wait so long. Be that as it may, what we have here is a techno house track full of astringent machine music and hi hats but leavened with the odd bit of what sounds like a sax. This gives it a bit of welcome humanity and funk. Class offering.
