Techno Sunday with Distant Flows – Engines #techno #electronic #newmusic

Sunday is techno day. And today we have Engines from Distant Flows. This French-born artist is now resident in the west of England and the track is taken from the album Equinox. It’s a track that takes its time to build up through distorted ambient and a bit of acid into a towering piece of overwhelming electronica. The drums are dark and oppressive, like all good techno should be. There’s a melodic sense to some of the synths but they only emphasise the track’s dark industrial heart.
