Stop and drone with: Alaskan Tapes – And, We Disappear #Drone #Ambient #Meditation #NewMusic

It’s Sunday. Time for a moment of peace. Canada’s Alaskan Tapes (Brady Kendall) is here for you to provide a soundtrack. The track is And, We Disappear, his new single. Taken from forthcoming album Views From Sixteen Stories, this is a piece of perfect drone. Such a difficult genre but this his the mark perfectly. Effortlessly. Chords are drawn to precisely the right length. There are other sounds floating around so not everything is about the drone. I’m forced to use the word ‘meditative’. But there is nothing else that works as well. This is drawing strength from stillness. Why don’t you find your own refusge here?

  1. I’m increasingly finding meditative music is the only thing that really works in blocking all the shite out.
