The sun isn’t even up yet – damn you clock changes. But Henning Behrendt from Germany is here before you with Les Autres. Dunno why he’s gone for a French title (The Others) but what you get is a mixtape come mini album of IDM electronic sounds. A sort of wandering electronic journey across fifteen tracklets in half an hour. Thing burble, blip, crunch and wow. There are flavours of the East and lost machines. He says, “Made mostly with a Moog Sub 37 analog synthesizer and Elektron Analog Rytm drum computer.” I say It’s all rather lovely.
