Electronic triple with: Intro_p, Eelke Kleijn, and Arun #DeepHouse #Techno #NewMusic

A three track offering from Intro_p, Eelke Kleijn, and Arun. Sounds ranging from House, through Melodic Techno and Techno. Enjoy.

Intro_p was born in Malága (Andalusia) to a family of musicians. He’s since relocated to Cologne, Germany. The track is Second Chance, the title track from his new EP. It’s deep house but put through a techno blender. It’s more machine based than you’d usually get from deep house. It’s an eight minute love affair with machines. Things thump along with synths variously crashing and wailing. But strings and general cleverness hold it together as an emotional journey. Even machines deserve a second chance.

Eelke Kleijn is a Dutch producer and DJ from Rotterdam, the Netherlands. He’s been around for quite a while, known mostly for his melodic techno work, but nowadays also produces music for other media, such as TV and commercials. The track is The Big Chill (Florian Kruse Remix). The original track was released way back in 2007. In original form it’s as melodic and chilled as the title implies. A bit polite. Germany’s Florian Kruse has given the track a serious going over. It’s been taken to the gym and had some steroids, been to a tattoo parlour for a sleeve tat, and got drunk on unsuitable mixers. The result is a fabulous piece of dark, sleazy techno but with a bit of that melodic nature allowed to peek through. Properly gorgeous club track for late nights and strobes.

Arun takes us back to Germany with Yūgen. He’s from Kiel in Northern Germany but his producer name is from Sanskrit and means dawn, reddish glow in the morning sky. The track is techno with an underlying electro leaning. Everything is all quite precise and there’s no sense of anything organic. It’s machine-tooled techno that demands your respect and your attention. Yugen is a Japanese word that means mysterious or profundity. And that unknowable sense is both explained in the track but also the essence of the track. The track’s techno heart or essence remains elusively out of sight while the beats march ever onwards.
