Get your synth on with: Daze Gates – Axiomatic #Synth #IDM #Electronic

Let’s go synth heavy to celebrate the newly light morning. Here’s Daze Gates from the UK with the wonderful synth laden Axiomatic.

Axiomatic means self-evident or unquestionable. Well, it’s unquestionably true that Daze Gates has produced a corker in Axiomatic. Daze Gates (Grey Molyneaux – formerly Grey but taken down by the man) is an American electronic artist based in Glasgow, Sotland. He’s a bit of a whizz with analogue synthesisers. And that’s all on show here.

The track gets off to a two-facing start. There’s a low slow melancholy bass synth topped with more optimistic trilling. That balance and vying for control continues through the track. It reverberates around in a more IDM than synthwave manner. There’s a old school feel about it without there being anything obviously old school to point to. The tune twists and turns its way across six minutes until you are utterly in its power. Fab track.
