Beautiful breakbeat with: Tet – Aurora #Breakbeat #Techno #Electronic
A bit of a different start to the week. Some breakbeats care of Tet. I was never much one for breakbeats bitd and have very few records with those grooves. But Tet delivers something quite lovely to go with the beats.
Tet is Seth Ginsburg, once of Chile and then to Italy. His biog says, “when he was a child and received a piano for Christmas. After playing for some time, he learned how to play the drums.” And perhaps that’s where this piece comes from? Aurora keeps the drums pretty prominent through the track and yet manages to balance that with some delightful synths that on the one hand provide a parping joyous melody and yet also a deeply rich bass line that ultimately makes this track as terrific as it is. Fab stuff.
