Experimental Electronic with: Vayron – Love’s Variations (Tilda’s Theme) #IDM #Electronic

Time to shake off the post Christmas sloth with something that manages to be both soothing and challenging from Vayron.
Vayron is from France and his work comes from, “the study of piano and classical impressionist composers such as Debussy and Ravel. Later on, the rich tradition of electronic artists such as Aphex Twin Boards of Canada and Radiohead.” Those influences are perfectly exprssed in the experimental classical electronica of Love’s Variations (Tilda’s Theme) from his 2 Years EP on U.Baba Records. It’s a wonderful blend of ambient sounds, some IDM awkwardness and angularity, with a classical composer’s approach to structure and melody. The whole thing is rich in texture and layers of sound and of implied meaning. Delicieuse.
