Church Organ Nightmare isn’t the Bach fest you might have expected. This is still brooding techno to star,t before developing into something with more of the Max Cooper restraint or, dare I say it, intelligent techno. Head music not feet music. The synths have a slight air of out of kilter distortion but church organ is pushing it a bit. Modern classic and up there with anythin from Chaotisch Serie.
Max says: This is a collaborative track that I did with the legend that is Phil Kieran! It came out with that unmistakable Phil Kieran sound, with the kick focused bass and rhythm, and wonky twisted synths, and in spite of sounding a bit odd, when I played it out for the first time a few weeks ago it completely smashed it, inducing some sort of fit like behaviour in the attendees (who were all fine in reality just incase you wondered). It’s coming out on Phil’s PKR label imminently!
