Acid techno from: Absolar – Matrix 64

Techno Tuesday comes with a pumping track from Absolar.

Absolar is a DJ and producer from Rotterdam, Netherlands. He identifies himself as “better described as a huge fan-boy in the electronic music scene.” He’s also founder of Stimular Recordings.

Here’s new release Matrix 64 from the EP Inner Balance.

Matrix 64 leads you in with a sleazy bass, like all the best tracks do. Beats arrive and synths offer a bit of acid promise. It’s got a dark heaviness and acid flavours but nothing too pounding.

This is techno that doesn’t need to batter you into submission for your pleasure centres to get triggered. At seven minutes it’s also a track that’s prepared to spend a bit of time getting to know you. No wham bam thank you ma’am here.

It’s a pleasure when the peaks arrive accompanied by more acid. Everything gets a bit lysergic and the track wants you to follow it down disorientating rabbit holes as the intensity gets ramped up.

Proper psychedelic techno.
