CHEESY: PART 2 (HYSTERIX)

Hysterix haven’t appeared for a year, so time to resurrect them with this big room, emoting house number. Even the K-Klass mix doesn’t reduce the cheese quotient.

A reminder from the last post: Hysterix were Darren Black, Nigel Butler and Richard Belgrave. Nigel Butler was also in techno crusties Tribal Drift but I’m not aware that the others did anything much else. They only produced a handful of singles. Their last single “Talk To Me” (1994) was a Sasha favourite and he did a remix for the 12″.

But today, we are not focusing on the Sasha connection but their penultimate single “Must Be The Music” from 1994. I think this is typical overblown house but a discogs reviewer thinks otherwise: What a great tune this is. Nice and punchy but rather breezy too! The K-Klass mix rocks the most though (as does most of K-Klass’s other stuff).
