KEEPINGITPEEL 3: NEW FAST AUTOMATIC DAFFODILS
Classic white boy indie-funk track “Big” from not-as-big-as-they-should-have-been New FADs.
New FADs’ work featured on John Peel regularly. Their off-beat indie funk went against the prevailing grain at the end of the 80s. They released a Peel Sessions album with tracks from the first two of their three Peel sessions. The track below is an instrumental version of probably their best known track “Big”, recorded for Peel on 19 December 1989, with the album being released in 1991.
