AUSTRALIA v ENGLAND

To mark the start of the Ashes (though not a good one for England), I thought we’d have an Australia v England posting. A draw results, meaning England retain the Ashes – I wish.

From Australia, disco spinners The 14th Minute. Bio: It Was the Summer of 1989, when the twin pair of Mat & Pat Stewart were spawned. Early childhood flights would point towards a unique connection being formed. Music was the answer. Early signs included; which was the better Violin player or which one was the best at chosing songs on the radio. This battle naturally turned the boys attention to the control of a dancefloor and the perfected skills needed in order to be the best DJ. Thus forming THE 14TH MINUTE.

A love for House and Electro was motivation for the boys to seek and destroy with gigs at some of Sydney’s highly esteemed venues (The Club, SOHO, HOME, CANDYS APARTMENT, QBAR to name a few). Within six months Mat & Patt had supported artists such as Fukkk Offf, Sam La More, Bang Gang Djs, Zanon, Tenzin, Blaze Trip, Ping Pong Djs, Ember and manys others.

sythn – we all play synths

Schwarzenegger – he gets more done

Kristen, because we both are massive twilight fans – love the 7 other books
7.    Andy Warhol or Roy Lichtenstein?
Lichtenstein – just did an art assignment on him
8.    Ashes 2005 or Rugby World Cup 2003?
2003 – the less we talk about cricket the better

808 – because of Kanye

ACDC for sure

And for England Hot Chip. The 14th Minute remix their track “I Feel Better”. Already an eighties disco-type tune, The 14th Minute give it the full glitterballs and turn it into a disco symphony.
