BRAINIAK: SINE

From the 1993 Brainiak B Sides LP sampler comes two tracks by Sine. Sine was Charles Webster, who would go on to have a range of other names including Furry Phreaks and Love From San Francisco (he also had a remix featured back here); Sara Jay and Thompson.

The two tracks are quite different. The Particles mix has a more spacey, ambient feel. Although it doesn’t quite become as beatless and far out there as The Orb’s sounds at this time. This track was not on the actual CD release, despite the sampler saying that they were taken from the album. The I Like Deep Beats mix is more dancey, with a gentle House feel. Neither are classics. But both are very pleasant for a Saturday morning.
