NEW MUSIC: Laubfrosch remixes Kinema
German electrofunksters Laubfrosch are back. They say “Here’s our rework of “My Beautiful Machines” by british newcomers Kinema.” Never heard of Kinema, who seem to be an electro pop group feted by the Gruaniad among others. The Human League for the new millennium, in other words. Laubfrosh take the insubstantial original and add some 80s bass to make it fit for a dance floor where green lasers are the height of fashion. Reminds me of burgundy loafers.
