BRAINIAK: INSTITUTION

You might remember we had Sine a few weeks back, from the Brainiak sampler (1993). Here’s another from that release. This is by the equally unknown Institution, who were Franco Martinelli, Ivan Gechele, Luigi Stanga. The tune is It’s Not Over, their sole release.

Slightly dodgy pressing but lovely Italo piano-led tune. This track would never have stood out at the time, since it could be a track by so many people – adamski piano, justin robertson blocs, beats by guerilla… and so on. But this far after the event, it is emblematic of a type of sound everywhere at that time. Consider this post and tune officially nostalgic.
