NEW MUSIC: FLASHBACK – FLASHBACK THEME
More synthy stuff to listen and download.
Much of the stuff I’ve been really enjoying this year has been the heavily synth-based work which has its roots in the whole Moroder thing. Stuff like The 14th Minute’s Fashionable Jesus (here) or Jordan F’s SoBe (here) or even The Chems’ Swoon (here). Here’s another of that vein from Italy’s Flashback. But the influences here seem as much from Axel F or Jan Hammer in the 80s. Ends up perhaps not quite as strong as The 14th Minute or Jordan F but still quite accomplished and quite dreamy.
