NEW MUSIC: FLASHBACK – FLASHBACK THEME (JORDAN F REMIX)

 

Jordan F remix improves on original – significantly – to deliver synth disco winner.

Following closely on the heel of his original – Definitely Miami – Jordan F’s back in a flash with a remix of Flashback (geddit!). The original of Flashback featured back here. I was slightly lukewarm about it, since it had more 80s than 70s synth influences. Not Jordan F’s remix, which is excellent. He says “I’ve upped the tempo of the track and made it more dance floor friendly with an 80s, electronic, disco edge.” And he’s spot on. This is much more dance-y and uses a great synth line to carry the tune onto the dancefloor. That it manages to be a club tune without significant bass or drums is quite an achievement. Lovely.
