Love and Rockets – Body and Soul (HIA – Dark Side Of The 12th Moon)

Madchester Rave On Ricky’s ‘other’ blog, Higher Than The Sun has Love & Rockets Body and Soul from 1994, with Secret Knowlege remixes (here) which I have as a 12″ promo somewhere. The SK mixes aren’t very good. But I’d never heard/don’t remember the Higher Intelligence Agency remix. This takes L&R’s alt rock original and gives it a total overhaul, to turn it into a piece of slow IDM. This bleeps and bloops, with ominous drums and the vocal amended to walking pace. All very early 90s.
