NEW MUSIC: Phantogram – Mouthful Of Diamonds (Feckless Wonders “3am Confessional Text” Rework)

Since we had Sacramento-based Feckless Wonders’ remix of Helena Beat yesterday and it intrigued me with its downbeat approach, I thought I’d check out something else of his for you to download.

Here’s a remix of Phantogram (no idea). Although the bpm count says 130, there’s something restrained about it all. Shoegaze house, if that’s allowed. More of that early morning mournfulness. Strangled beats and thin organ. Mouthful of gin and getting maudlin. Rather good in a strange way.
