FRAZIER CHORUS – ANARCHY IN THE UK
So, we had that cover version of KLF’s 3AM Eternal and I was saying that cover versions have to do something different to the original. That reminded me of this cover version of Anarchy In The UK by Frazier Chorus (previously here). It’s hard to get further from a Sex Pistols’ punk standard than this chilled, slightly fey, dance version from 1989 (the B side to single Sloppy Heart). It has a rather lovely fragile beauty. Get ready to lie down and be counted.
