KISS AMC – MY DOCS

Kiss AMC were a UK female rap duo in the late 80s (more here), who achieved notoriety with their U2-sampling A Bit Of… track. This was never quite the hit it should have been and subsequent singles suffered from a law of diminishing returns. Here’s one of those later tracks, from 1990, which includes samples from glam rockers Slade and good time ska band Bad Manners. The track extolls the virtues of footwear of choice back then, Dr Martens.
