DNB: Ken Ishii – Stretch (Shogun Remix)

Ken Ishii’s work starts in IDM and stretches into glacial techno (more here). This track is taken from his 1995 classic album Jelly Tones. The remix to 1996 single Stretch is provided by Shogun (Oliver Lomax) about whom I know nothing. This remix combines dnb skippiness on the beats with almost ambient held chords on the synth. Pleasant.
