We haven’t had any synth stuff paying hommage to the 80s for a while. Here’s Anto Greekson to remedy that. Listen or buy.
The stand out track is Naked, with throbbing sleazy bass and high end synth foreplay. Ultimately, it delivers a thrilling climax. The rest of the EP is more in thrall to Daft Punk and arcade games and is too often too retro 80s.

Blurb: Anto was born in Stockholm, Sweden by Greek parents and has been producing music since the late 90’s. Many years later in 2007 his other project ’Adonakis’ won Pete Tong’s bedroom bedlam competition on his weekly fastraxx show, (the very same competition swedish superstar ’Avicii’ also won a couple of months later which kickstarted his career). After winning this competition DJs, producers, musiclovers and labels started to ask for that track but nothing happened, it never got released. Anto started his ’Anto Greekson’project and begun spreading his music on various music blogs, both original tracks and unofficial remixes that topped the hypem charts. From there computer game developers and X-treme movies makers started to use his music in their projects. In 2010 he started the label Anto Recordings so he could release and promote his own music. Taking his time to gain production skills and getting his Audio engineering diploma, he is now ready to bring you the first Anto Greekson EP. Influenced by the 70s and 80s music, cartoons from his childhood , Sci-fi, Daft punk, Kavinsky and many more he found his style. Electro with a twist of the 80s synth music and some strong arcade game melodies that makes his music nostalgic and futuristic at the same time! Fantasy- The first track of the EP with the same title. A full energy electro track with a phat arcade-game melody makes you feel like you are battling off the last boss of some early video game! Naked- This is is a follow up to Fantasy, but more dreamy electro with a sci-fi feeling! Intruders- Arcadepads that explodes into a smashing electro melody makes this the floor banger of the EP. Streetlights- This is a slower heavybeating track with a strong melody making it catchy and nostagic Anto really brings out the 80’s feeling in this one! Galaxy – In this one Anto brings out the 80s movie theme sound. An uplifting Sci-fi electro banger! There is still alot more music coming from Anto Greekson and Anto Recordings. This is just the beginning. Keep your eyes and ears open.
