Indidginus – Vajradanti (ft Nona Kalra)

Indidginus (Michael Martin) produced an album – Sofa Surfers – last year which was an intriguing mix of electronica, dubstep, ragga and dub. He’s done further travelling and is going further into bass sounds with his new Sab Kuch Milega EP (trans: you’ll get everything you want) on High Chai Recordings. There’s ragga bass and moombahton. And there’s this track Vajradanti, which mixes classical Indian singing from Nona Kalra (Indian-born but now based in the UK) with some dirty bass and Indian strings.

Redundant factoid: Vajradanti is a herb (Barleria, in English) used in Ayurvedic medicine for strengthening teeth.
