Matthias Heilbronn produces massive house remix of Todd Terry classic for its 20th anniversay.
I’m not a great Todd Terry fan, so I don’t really have strong feelings about the original. But it’s been 20 years since it was released and it’s receiving a plethora of remixes. Todd does his own remix which is perfectly fine. But this remix by Matthias HeilBronn was the one that really caught my attention. This uses the original samba drums and vocals as a mere starting point for a terrifically groovy house workout. And then it adds twisting synths all over the top to take it further into the tech zone.
