Plant Music: Love Me
Love Me is New York-based label Plant Music’s new house compilation. Got comp of the month in DJ Mag which has them all excited. To celebrate they are offering two free downloads, a mix of Richard Richard ‘s Toro and Wool’s The Good In You.
Richard Richard’s Toro appeared here back in March with the original version, which was classic house with a little Detroit. This remix by Whatever / Whatever takes the track in a different direction. This is more analogue synth house in a warm swirling concoction. Rather fine.
Wool’s The Good In You also appeared here in March. The track is the radio edit and is a soulful house tune, with a bit of choppy house piano. Pleasant but not as arresting as Toro.
