Spor – Ziggurat

A new drum and bass track from Spor on Lifted Music UK for free download.

I don’t know Spor’s previous work but this is clearly a departure, given the nature of the comments on this track. Looks like his previous work has been heavy duty drum and bass. This is not that. It’s still a fairly frantic drum and bass tune but instead of leading with the bass line it leads with a strong synth line giving it a slight sense of marrying itself to prog house peakiness. In other hands that might be too cheesy but Spor avoids that trap to leave something rightfully euphoric. I was happily seduced by it.
