Frett – Expectation (MDR Saturation Mix)
Here’s a remix recommended by the talented Robjn, and who am I to ignore such a thing. Frett is a new UK artist. Inoffensive jangly, choppy indie. Whatever. But the remix by MDR is a different matter.
The mix is described variously as tech house to techno house. It’s not cold enough to be tech house but neither is it quite proper techno. It’s a house mix of beautiful warmth. The guitar all gets lost and the voice turned into a disembodied sample. It’s all very mellow and properly sundayish. Nice work.
