The Korgis – Everybody’s got to learn sometime (Kav Verhouzer feat. Saxophonic Festival Bootleg)

korgis

I’ve no idea whether to claim this as a sick April Fool’s joke.

The Korgis original is, frankly, awful 1980s melodramatic pop. So, it is more than a little worrying when Kav says “When i heard the original song when i was driving my car i came up with the idea to make a remix of this song.” What kind of response is that? You’re supposed to turn it off, not remix it. But remix it he did. He says “I made a raw edit and hooked up with Saxophonic, He added his saxophone sounds and a new song is born.” There’s too much vocal left on this remix but a pumping dance beat, looped piano and extra sax makes this something fun in the sun. Only that should be sun with heat, rather than the cold winter sun we’ve got here.
