Traxx Project – Superfunk

Here’s Traxx Project (Kaine Shutler) with a new tune for free download. Superfunk is a harder drum and bass tune, filled with deep bass and funk samples. He says “I’ve returned, but gone are airy pads and seraphic vocals! I hope you’re feeling it.” Kind of, is the answer. This is good, but… it doesn’t quite stand out from lots of other deep bass drum and bass tunes. Whereas, something like Lights from 8 months ago, with its delicate vocals and pointilist melody is achingly beautiful and distinctive.
