The 14th Minute – Florida EP

Goodness, this has been a long time coming. But, finally, The 14th Minute’s Florida EP is available. Expect soaring disco synthiness.

Florida is their usual batch of disco synth but, for the first time, tempered by electro sounds. This is harder than much of their offerings over the last couple of years. Still euphoric but slightly steely.

Bowties appeared here in May and is a corker. More synths, less disco and a sample which says Bowties are cool. What’s not to like?

Say Yeah has all the classic 14th Minute elements. It’s breezy, bouncy and dance floor fun. There’s a party-all-night feel. There’s lots of glittery disco. A little chipmunky sampling. A little more piano and a little less synth than usual. But, mostly, a feelgood factor turned up to 10.

Blurb: So proud to finally announce the release of our debut EP ‘Florida’. I would like to thank everyone and Preston Recordings for the support over the years. Please enjoy and spread the love. Available exclusively on Beatport and iTunes now. http://www.beatport.com/release/florida-ep/1126943
