Slighter – Against The Grain

Since we had a breaks tune from Slighter on Friday, thought we should have something that reflects another aspect of his style – a new ambient tune, not out until 19 August.

In his Visitor Seven guise, his ambient work can owe more towards the chilly, awkward, inhuman ambient of some of the Warp early pioneers. This new one is is more conventionally ambient but still manages through the deep bass to have a rolling, unsettling feel. Quality track.
