REMIXING CLASSICS: Chic – Good Times (Lee Sanderson Remix)

Here’s a remix of the classic Chic track by Lee Sanderson from Liverpool for free download. Sub bass replaces the disco, leaving an oddly downtempo classic. But the real reason for posting this was to encourage you to listen to an original tune by Lee which is much, much more interesting.

Here’s the minimal future bass remix of Chic:

The original track is Push. It’s also a free download. This is billed as deep house but isn’t my definition. It has elements of minimal and future bass. The sub bass is THE thing here. Carries the tune along with the sample in an oddly hypnotic way.

Blurb: Lee Sanderson is a 21 year old DJ from LIverpool who has been immersed in music since an extremely young age. Following on from his families roots it was clear that Lee was, before long going to step out, successfully on to the underground music scene. With his already trademark sound, famous for pounding sub bass’ and mesmorising pads, Lee has all the credentials to be up there with the best. With releases up and coming on some of the most renowned underground record labels, Lee is definitely one to watch out for in the future.
