Couch Lock – Allure EP

A great new techno release from Couch Lock on Hidden Recordings and a free mixtape to download from label boss Deepak Sharma.

Allure is that sort of deep techno that finds a groove then locks it in place. On the B side, Recipe is a more dub techno sound. Hypnotic, with a choppy piano riff. There are two remixes. Allure gets remixed by Jonas Kopp. That he’s a regular at Berghain comes as no surprise, given the relentless metallic techno that comprises this remix. Recipe gets tackled by A. Trebor in a remix that maxes out the spacey dubness of it all.
