This has lots of those classic house piano stabs and a deep understanding of classic Chicago house. Clean ‘N’ Dirty exemplifies this with blipping over-ridden by piano stabs and “house music is an expression of soul” sample. Can’t get more house than that. We Dreamt Chords takes things a little deeper, almost into deep house domains. Union Range switches things again. There are still warm washes of synth but the beats are a little chillier. More Detroit than Chicago. This gets remixed by Refresh, with more bass added but otherwise not amended.
