Oh dear. JJ Cale. Heard of him. But heard nothing by him. Guitarist perhaps? M’kay, just had a quick Wiki. Yup, guitarist but then they talked about Eric Clapton and my eyes glazed over. Never was one for that blues guitarist thing. Max Aristid has done a bootleg dub house version of Cale’s Crying. Kinda nice in a dubby laid back sort of way. Limited free download. Max says “A homage to J.J. Cale (5.12. 1938 – † 26.7. 2013). Taken from the original crispy crackling record of 1974.”
