Erik Satie’s GYMNOPEDIE 3 – ROMOLIVE trio

Here’s something Sundayish. An electric jazz version of French composer Erik Satie’s Gymnopedie 3. The original is a piano piece and a precursor to modern ambient music. Romolive Trio (Romain Fitoussi (gtr), with Olivier De Colombel (ts) Gregory Desgouttes (dms)) go for an electric guitar-based rendition with a bit of freeform towards the end. Free download.
