Winter Chill

Dunno what’s going on with me. Being sick, perhaps. But I’ve been meaning to post this for days and keep being distracted by other stuff. Focus! Here’s a new free three track EP from Slighter. It’s less in your face than other releases.

Values is an oldie that’s had a remaster. It’s the pick of the EP, with a rumbling bass line that warms your stomach like a fine whiskey. It gets topped off with a little synth that slows everything down, and just a little acid. Our Own End is Slighter’s classic 2012 track of which I said ” This is a big lovelorn sigh set to music.” In this version, the beats have gone and the synths remain. Nice but it’s the original you want. The EP closes with the previously unreleased A Fall From The Sky. It’s a mellow reverbed breaks tune and rather sweet.
