Yorkshire’s Larry Jefferson is back with a couple of new acid techno tunes.
Ald is the dreamier of the two. Acid sounds burble along until a techno back beat comes to propel it forward. If I ever went out, this is how I’d like a set to start. And, as a closer, how about this reworking of the classic Larry Heard track Can U Feel It. Repositions the original more firmly in a UK acid house place. Larry Jefferson says “I know you can’t improve on the original and all respect to Larry Heard. This is just my interpretation as it is so much fun to do live.”
