La Dolce Luca Pt2
Second offering of Italian blogs from commenter Luca. This time Italo Deviance, which promises “obscure disco since 2008.”
Luca says “Italo Deviance is where you could find long forgotten Italo Disco classics (I know, there’s an oxymoron in here somewhere) and surprisingly good Italo edits, most of them by Marcello Giordani. Best enjoyed by joining their private Facebook group.”
The blog is a mix of releases, events and obscure tracks. Definitely worth an explore. But also worth a little time is the soundcloud which has a range of Giordani’s edits, including this lovely piece of light space disco. Free download.
Good work Luca

Thanks SA, and it’s only fair for me to say that I’ve been flattered by Ctel’s decision to dedicate a series of posts to my suggestions. On the other hand.. ‘LA DOLCE LUCA!? I’m gonna get you for this, Ctel, believe me. My wife has been laughing for days 🙂

Oh. Sorry about that. It was meant to cast you as the Marcello Mastroianni figure, rather than Anita Ekberg. But that depends on your love for fountains.

Don’t be sorry. The problem is that, according to my wife, of all the adjectives which could be used to describe me, ‘sweet’ should be not even in the top 100. Actually, as I was writing this, I asked her what adjective was better suited for me. Her reply: ‘You always look pissed off for something’. That’s probably true.
And sadly, I don’t look like Mastroianni not even in the slightest.
