Axton Frick – Fathom

Underwater Lego

A fathom is six feet (or 1.8m if you’re metrically inclined) as a noun and a difficult problem to understand if a verb. Axton Frick’s Fathom seems to offer depth, rather than a lack of understanding. This is a spaced electronica track, full of reverb and delay. The music shimmers slowly, in an almost ambient manner. As for inspiration, Axton says “for this one I was inspired by the Radiohead music video for “Pyramid Song””.

It’s taken from the curiously entitled album Mi Casa Su Casserole
