Hey, where did the sunshine go?

Knight cycle

This summer’s been hopelessly unreliable. A day of sun. A lot of rain and suddenly it’s cold again. Here’s a couple of tracks calling for the unconditional return of summer otherwise management will have forced me into balloting my members for industrial action. It isn’t a step we want to take. But we feel forced by the lack of consultation on the loss of temperature and the introduction of precipitation.

To show the weather management what can be achieved through negotiation, here’s Bob Wall with the sensibly entitled Sunshine. Lot’s of happy, happy, choppy house piano and some ascending synths make this cuter than a puppy. A joyous house welcome into summer.

And, while we’re about it here’s EDX – Roadkill (EDX’s Ibiza Sunrise Remix). This is a new remix from EDX (better known as Dubfire) 2008 minimal techno stomper Roadkill. Here is a completely different proposition to the original. This version is an electronic deep house vision built around the central loop which offers wave your hands in the air pleasures. Awesome revise.
