Chicola – Childhood

Some music aims to change your life. Some music aims to politicise, enrage, activate. Chicola won’t do any of that. It won’t make you more attractive to potential mates. It won’t make your skin glow, your hair shine or deal with your dandruff. But for the three minutes this clip of Childhood lasts it will make you feel that little bit better. That little bit more able to face the day. You may even manage a wry smile at the commute. It’s chilled, soothing, and vaguely uplifting. Like Greg Wallace faced with a traditional pud, you murmur it’s a lovely, lovely thing.
