Yaams – Pearl Leaves
Yaams are a house duo (Luke Brown and Jamison Leid) from St Louis in the USA. Their track Pearl Leaves is a bit quirky. There’s a tribal sense to the beats but more around an almost wood block sound than drums. The synth is taken from a more downtempo style. It all has a rather withdrawn air until the second half of the track when it reveals its playful side and comes out of its shell.
