Saturday Selection with VL3XB, Krikl and Sekkt

A varied but basically uptempo and groovy selection this morning. VL3XB offer deep house, Krikl goes for clattering house and Sekkt wig out with grooving techno.

VL3XB offers the grooving deep house of Feelings, Feelings. A synth line that worms its way straight into your head and beats that reek of sunshine and suntans.

And Adrianna Krikl provides Got Me. Krikl is a female producer/composer based in Los Angeles. The song “Got Me” is part of “sonicDISTRACTIONS,” a 5-song electronic EP coming soon. More power to her I say. This is clattering house with real drive and more than a little Eastern psychedelic swirl.

I don’t feature anywhere near enough techno on this blog. But that’s mainly cos I can’t get the quality. Sekkt offers that quality but it’s by no means a straight techno tune. There’s the drive of techno but allied to something head shakingly funky and groovy.
